Anenberg is an independent Southern California clothing brand built around art, individuality and the idea that the best things rarely come from following the crowd.

Founded in 2005, Anenberg grew out of the Inland Empire with a different perspective on what a clothing brand could be. We weren't interested in making another logo and putting it on a shirt. The artwork had to mean something. The garment had to feel right. And the finished piece had to be something we would actually want to wear.

More than two decades later, that hasn't changed.

Anenberg creates men's graphic tees, streetwear, headwear and accessories driven by original artwork and an obsession with the details. Our influences don't come from one place. They come from Southern California, music, tattoo culture, vintage graphics, motorcycles, workwear, counterculture, fine art, forgotten advertising and the things we see every day.

We take those influences apart and rebuild them our way.

Some designs are loud. Some are understated. Some make sense immediately. Others aren't supposed to.

We believe what you wear can say something without explaining everything. Our graphic t-shirts and apparel are created for people who appreciate artwork, craftsmanship and ideas that live outside the mainstream.

We don't design around an algorithm.

We don't believe everything needs to look like everything else.

MEN'S GRAPHIC TEES BUILT AROUND THE ART

Graphic tees have always been at the center of Anenberg.

Instead of treating the graphic as decoration, we treat the entire shirt as the canvas. That means considering the artwork, placement, scale, garment, wash, ink, texture and printing technique as parts of a single finished piece.

Depending on the design, an Anenberg shirt may use oversized graphics, soft-hand screen printing, discharge printing, plastisol, specialty inks, embroidery, washed garments or unconventional print placements.

The technique changes.

The purpose doesn't.

Anenberg was established in Southern California's Inland Empire in 2005.

Southern California has always existed at the intersection of different cultures and different ideas — skateboarding, punk, hip-hop, tattooing, motorcycles, cars, surfing, streetwear, art and design.

Growing up around that collision shaped the way we see clothing.

But Anenberg isn't about trying to represent a scene.

It's about creating your own.

We have never wanted Anenberg to be for everybody.

For more than 20 years, people have discovered the brand, worn the shirts, held onto old pieces and passed the name along. Some have been here since the beginning. Others are discovering Anenberg for the first time.
