BAD IDEAS CLUB TEE
Built from poor decisions.
The Bad Ideas Club Tee takes a familiar troublemaker and gives him the Anenberg treatment. A small left-chest graphic introduces the devil character beneath a crooked halo with “Built From Poor Decisions”, while the back turns the concept loose with an oversized Bad Ideas Club graphic.
The artwork is intentionally heavily distressed, breaking apart the reds and aged neutral tones to give the entire print a worn, imperfect character. The distress isn't an afterthought or a vintage filter it is built directly into the artwork and becomes part of the way the shirt looks and ages.
Underneath the color is a discharge base, removing the black dye from the garment in the printed areas before the color is laid down. This allows us to build a large graphic without covering the shirt in a heavy layer of ink, keeping the print softer while maintaining the strong color and distressed detail of the artwork.
The result is exactly what the name suggests: something that probably shouldn't work, but does.

THE PRINT
Bad Ideas Club is built around distressed artwork and a discharge base.
Rather than laying the entire design over the black garment with a heavy opaque underbase, discharge ink removes the garment's original dye beneath the printed areas. The red and aged neutral colors are then able to sit over that discharged foundation with less ink buildup and a softer overall hand.
The heavy distressing exposes areas of the original black garment throughout the artwork, creating the worn and broken appearance visible across the lettering, devil illustration and supporting graphics.
The front keeps the concept small with a left chest hit. The back takes over with the oversized Bad Ideas Club artwork, devil character, pitchfork, halo, smoke and “Built From Poor Decisions” typography.
THE TEE
Bad Ideas Club is printed on our standard Next Level 1810 Ideal Tee, constructed from 100% carded ring-spun cotton with a substantial 5.6 oz / 185 GSM, 24-singles jersey.
The regular fit gives the shirt a clean everyday silhouette while providing enough structure for the large distressed back print.
