The Anenberg American Trade Coffee Mug takes one of our core Anenberg graphics and puts it on something that gets used every damn day.

Built on a classic white ceramic mug, the design features two different treatments of the Anenberg Crest. One side carries the bold black and white crest with the Anenberg monogram, “The Most Known Unknowns,” “California Made,” and “American Trade.” The opposite side reworks the crest into a deep red wax seal graphic, giving the mug two completely different looks depending on which way it sits.

It’s functional, graphic and unmistakably Anenberg.

THE ARTWORK

The mug uses the Anenberg Crest as the foundation, but instead of simply repeating the same graphic on both sides, each side gets its own treatment.

The primary side keeps the artwork clean and graphic in black and white, showcasing the full Crest and Anenberg monogram.

Turn the mug around and the artwork transforms into a dimensional looking red wax seal, creating the appearance of the Anenberg crest being pressed directly into melted sealing wax.

THE MUG

Made from ceramic with a classic white finish, the Anenberg American Trade Coffee Mug is built for coffee, tea or whatever keeps the day moving.

The white ceramic acts as a clean background for both designs, allowing the black American Trade artwork and deep red wax seal to stand apart while keeping the overall piece simple enough for everyday use.
