Fang for a Fang.
Built around the idea of consequence, instinct and returning the energy you're given, Fang for a Fang puts a modern Anenberg spin on an old idea: what you give has a way of coming back.
The back is dominated by a snarling saber-tooth tiger rendered in highly detailed linework and an aggressive palette of magenta, blue, black and white, finished with piercing yellow eyes and oversized fangs. Behind it, the phrase FANG FOR A FANG wraps around the artwork in tonal Old English lettering, creating another layer that reveals itself as you look closer.
The front stays deliberately understated. A small tonal Fang for a Fang graphic follows a circular path at the left chest, giving the shirt a quiet front and a completely different presence from behind.
Screen printed in-house by Anenberg in Southern California, the artwork is produced with high mesh screens to retain the illustration's fine lines, color transitions and small details while maintaining a clean print.
THE TEE
Fang for a Fang is printed on a 100% carded ring spun cotton tee with a substantial 5.6 oz / 185 GSM midweight jersey construction. The 24 singles fabric gives the shirt more body than a lightweight fashion tee while maintaining a comfortable cotton hand.
The regular-fit silhouette is finished with a 1×1 rib knit neck, shoulder to shoulder taping and tear-away label. The tubular body construction on most sizes creates a clean shape without side seams. The result is a straightforward, durable everyday tee with enough structure to properly carry the oversized back artwork.
