May the bridges I burn light my way.
The Anenberg May the Bridges I Burn Crew takes one of the brand’s most recognizable statements and builds it around an oversized, highly detailed angel illustration.
The artwork combines the phrase “May the Bridges I Burn Light My Way” with a dramatic black and white angel composition inspired by classical engraving. Large typography cuts through the illustration, deliberately interrupting the artwork instead of simply sitting around it.
Printed across the front of a black Independent Trading Co. IND3000 crewneck sweatshirt, the oversized artwork takes over the garment while maintaining the detail and contrast of the original illustration.
It is a piece built around moving forward, accepting what gets left behind and refusing to retrace the same path.

THE PRINT
May the Bridges I Burn is built around a large format front screen print combining detailed halftone reproduction with solid typography.
The angel artwork uses fine tonal detail to reproduce the depth and texture of the original engraved illustration, while the typography moves directly through the image to create the layered composition.
The result is an intentionally oversized graphic that dominates the front of the crewneck rather than feeling like a standard centered sweatshirt print.
THE CREW
May the Bridges I Burn is printed on the Independent Trading Co. IND3000 Heavyweight Crew Neck, a substantial 10 oz / 330 GSM sweatshirt constructed from a 70% cotton / 30% polyester blend in solid colors.
The IND3000 features a 100% cotton 32-singles face yarn, giving the outside of the sweatshirt a clean printing surface while maintaining the weight and structure expected from a heavyweight fleece crewneck.
Its generous fit and heavyweight construction give the oversized May the Bridges artwork enough room to become the focal point of the garment without sacrificing everyday wearability.
