The Anenberg Oil Washed Embroidered Single Story Tee takes one of Anenberg’s core Logos and gives it a deliberately understated treatment.

Instead of a large screen print, the front is finished with the Anenberg Single Story embroidered directly into the garment at 4.75" wide × 1.75" tall. The clean tonal grey embroidery sits against the washed charcoal body.

The garment itself does much of the work. The charcoal oil wash creates tonal movement and natural variation across the fabric, giving each shirt an already worn appearance that works with the simplicity of the embroidered Anenberg Single Story. Cotton Collective notes that its oil-wash finish creates tonal streaking and variation, meaning individual garments will naturally differ.

THE EMBROIDERY

The focus of this piece is the Anenberg Single Story.

Measuring 4.75" wide × 1.75" tall, the logo is embroidered directly into the front of the tee rather than printed on top of the fabric.

The gray thread creates a clean presence on the charcoal oil washed cotton while the dimensional stitching gives the Anenberg Single Story a physical texture that becomes part of the garment.

Keeping the embroidery restrained allows the washed fabric, oversized silhouette and Anenberg Single Story to work together without unnecessary decoration.

THE TEE

The Oil Washed Embroidered Single Story is built on the Cotton Collective Oversized Box S/S Tee 7.5 oz in Oil Wash Charcoal.

Constructed from 100% cotton using 16-single yarn, the heavyweight 7.5 oz jersey has a substantial dry hand and a structured, boxy silhouette. The oversized cut incorporates dropped shoulders and is designed to hang square rather than follow the shape of a conventional fitted tee.

The oil wash process gives the charcoal fabric visible tonal movement throughout the garment. Because that finish intentionally varies from piece to piece, no two shirts will have exactly the same wash pattern.

Width: Measured flat across the chest.

Length: Measured from the highest point of the shoulder to the bottom hem.

FIT: This is intentionally an oversized, boxy, drop-shoulder tee. Order your normal size for the intended oversized silhouette. Size down if you prefer a more traditional fit.
