SCYTHE — ALL OVER PRINT TEE

Death rides through everything.

The Scythe Tee is one of the more involved pieces in the Anenberg lineup a true all-over printed garment built around an oversized Cotton Collective silhouette.

The artwork consumes the entire shirt rather than sitting inside a conventional print area. A mounted reaper dominates the center, surrounded by angels, clouds and dense engraving style linework that continues across the body, shoulders and sleeves. The muted oil washed garment underneath gives the artwork an aged, almost archival quality instead of the appearance of a standard graphic tee.

Then there is one deliberate interruption: the Anenberg light bulb embroidered on the sleeve in bright cyan, creating a small dimensional hit against the otherwise monochromatic artwork.

This isn't a graphic placed on a shirt. The shirt is the graphic.

THE TEE

Scythe is built on the Cotton Collective Oversized Box S/S Tee, making the garment noticeably different from the Next Level 1810 used on many of the other Anenberg tees.

Cotton Collective lists the Oversized Box Tee at 7.5 oz, while retailers specify approximately 255 GSM heavyweight cotton. The silhouette is intentionally oversized and boxy, giving the all over artwork substantially more visual presence and a heavier drape. cottoncollective.org

The oil-wash treatment creates variations in tone and a naturally broken-in appearance, so subtle differences from garment to garment are part of the intended finish rather than defects. Stitches N' Clothes

FIT NOTE

Scythe does not fit like our Next Level 1810 tees.

This garment is intentionally oversized with a wider, boxier body and more relaxed sleeves. We recommend ordering your normal size for the intended Anenberg oversized fit. If you want the garment to fit closer to a traditional tee, consider sizing down one size.

Because of the oil-wash process, individual garments can have subtle variations in shade and wash character. No two pieces will look completely identical. That variation is part of the garment.

CARE

Wash cold, inside out, with like colors. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low or hang dry when possible. Do not iron directly over the printed artwork or embroidered sleeve detail.
